The Woodstock Craftsman Wind Chime is painstakingly tuned to sound like the ringing of distant bells. The inspiration comes from the Arts and Crafts architects of the mid 20th century including the clear tones of the four satin black square tubes and tuning based on the golden ratio. Woodstock Percussion Wind Chimes are tuned using a computerized tuning process in order to achieve incomparably beautiful sound. These wind chimes also use a unique tuning system known as just intonation. The frequencies at which the different tubes vibrate are integrally related thus producing the purest musical intervals.
